Country music’s biggest stars came together in Nashville to celebrate the life and legacy of Dolly Parton during a special two-hour television event.
The Country Music Association and ABC presented CMA Presents I Will Always Love You: A Celebration of Dolly Parton on October 21, 2026, honoring the legendary singer following her death on August 25 at age 80.
Held at Belmont University’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, the tribute featured performances from Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson, Brad Paisley, Vince Gill, Kelsea Ballerini, and several other prominent artists.
The broadcast combined live music, archival footage, and personal stories highlighting Parton’s remarkable career and contributions to entertainment.
Beyond her success with songs such as Jolene, 9 to 5, and I Will Always Love You, Parton was recognized for her charitable work and commitment to children’s literacy.
Proceeds from the celebration benefited Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which provides free books to young children.
The special aired on ABC and Disney+ and is also available to stream on Hulu.
